HENRY MAYO BATEMAN
1887 – 1970
Renowned cartoonist who produced
several motoring cartoons including a series of "The Man Who" for
Shell petroleum. Also an attractive series of fourteen advertising cartoons of
Mr. Wiseman - see Brooks sale 19th June 1997 Lot 249.
