Technical artist who produced drawings for publications such as Illustrated London News and The Graphic publications, the drawings and cutaways explain new inventions etc. Many of these are for new models of cars on the market. Drawings are very detailed and produced in pencil, black ink and grisaille with very occasional colour work. He was educated at the Ealing School of art. His art first appeared in the Illustrated London News in July 1923 and worked for them until his death 40 years later. He served in the Royal flying Corps during the first World War.
